Welcome to Grove Primary

Grove Primary school is situated in the area of All Saint’s on the edge of Wolverhampton City Centre. We have pupils from a diverse range of backgrounds and with varying educational needs. The school is growing in numbers, with just under 300 pupils on roll (November 2012). The school building was originally separate Infant and Junior schools but is now linked by a central corridor and a sports hall. We have 12 classes across the school including a 40 place nursery. In school we also have a library, additional group working areas and a parent’s room. In the grounds we have two playgrounds, an Early Years outdoor area, a large field and a ‘woodland classroom’.

School Ethos and Values

Grove Primary is a good school where we can grow into confident and mature young people.

• We can achieve our best and make excellent progress because our teachers make lessons fun, interesting and meaningful.

• We can keep ourselves and others safe and healthy because we learn to make sensible and positive choices.

• We can become responsible citizens because we are given opportunities to contribute to our environment and wider community.

• We can develop into independent learners because we are supported by teachers and adults who value and understand our needs.

• We can become confident learners because we work in a happy and safe environment where we feel well looked after.
